We had a delightful 3-night stay at Sorell Hotel Rex in December, leaving with happy memories. From the prompt response to my room request to the detailed pre-arrival email, the seamless check-in process set the tone for our stay. Arriving early, we were pleased to find our room ready and exactly as requested—a lovely space with a stunning Zurich city view. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a full-size bathroom and high-quality touches like goose feather bedding, soft towels, and convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and yoga mat. It was quiet, cozy, and perfect for a longer stay. The breakfast buffet offered fresh, high-quality options, including locally sourced products. We appreciated the efficient service during busy moments and the all-day refreshment corner with complimentary drinks and snacks. The location was convenient, with easy tram access to the airport and city center, and the peaceful residential setting made it a serene retreat. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Sorell Hotel Rex is inspired by Susanna Orelli, a pioneer in women’s entrepreneurship and a supporter of the Zurich community. Staying in a hotel with such a meaningful legacy added a special dimension to our visit. We highly recommend Sorell Hotel Rex for its exceptional hospitality, comfort, and inspiring story. We would gladly stay again!

Great 3-star (I would call it 3+) hotel in a beautiful quiet area. Very clean and modern. Swiss standard. Has a nice shaded patio guests can use 24/7. Main train station is 20 minutes away on foot, or 5 minutes by tram. Also a 5-10 min from the No. 10 tram, which connects directly to the airport. Really good wi-fi. The immediate vicinity is great for walks and sightseeing Zurich art-nouveau architecture. About half an hour walk to the lake, 10-15 min to ETH and Uni. Zurich. Trams 7 and 15 stop right in front of the hotel.

Stuff was very polite and very nice. Room is clean functional although I have never seen smaller bathroom. Anyway, room was clean, bed was big enough with warm covers. There is nice coffee machine. Although room window was looking on the street room is quiet enough for nice deep sleep. We asked a bike for ride, and stuff provide it. Very cool!

The hotel is well placed. Proximity to transportation. The bed was very comfortable. The checkin process was very simple, i did everything from my phone, even unlocking the room everytime and checkout etc. Sincerely, it was a great hotel and i especially want to thank Christine for her help and assistance.

Location is really good. Sound-prood windows were just perfect as it was quite noisy outside because of the transport. Room was clean and fully equipped. Bathroom is extremely tiny.
